General Marriage:

Love and Respect by Emerson Eggerichs. God invites husbands and wives to distinctly different responses to one another. This book offers great insights for husbands on how to love and for wives on how to demonstrate respect.

Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. What if God designed marriage to make us holy, not happy? Thomas will help you to yearn to grow in your relationship and in Christ.

His Needs, Her Needs by Willard F. Harley, Jr. Harley gives some practical guidelines that will not only “affair-proof” your marriage but keep you connected.

The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. Chapman invites you to examine the best way to express love to your spouse, while understanding when you most feel loved by your spouse.

Before Marriage:

Saving Your Marriage Before it Starts by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott. This book contains seven questions to ask before and after you marry. It is one of the most widely used premarital help books available.

12 Questions to Ask Before You Marry by Clayton and Charie King. Clayton King and his wife, Charie, reveal a revolutionary biblical perspective–at the heart of a godly union is a heart of service.

A Christ-Centered Wedding by Catherine Strode Parks. This book is a great resource for planning your wedding.

Saving Your Second Marriage Before it Starts by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrot. For those entering or part of second marriages, this book addresses nine key questions.

The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. Chapman invites you to examine the best way to express love to your fiancé, while understanding when you most feel loved by your future spouse.

Sunday Morning Marriage Class:

Join other couples in the room above the gym for a group study on marriage at 9am on Sunday mornings through December.

Couples that grow in their marriage tend to be very intentional. They are intentional about carving out time together and using it purposefully. They are intentional about exposing themselves to great resources and to other couples that are growing. But, most importantly, they are intentional about moving from theory to practice.
