Upside Down

In Matthew 5, Jesus is describing extraordinary character and teaching people what it means to live with the eternal Kingdom in mind. In Jesus’ teaching, he includes 8 “blessed are…” statements which, to a believer, are not optional but essential.

These statements are completely contrary to what the world tells us to do and how to act, they’re upside down. It is our goal through this series to have a better understanding of what it means to be a more fully devoted follower of Christ.
