Love Came Down

Life is all about love.  And love is an overused and misunderstood word.  It’s overused to describe how we feel about things that we really don’t love we just like.  It’s misunderstood because it’s most defined as a feeling.  It’s how we think someone should behavior toward us making us feel “loved.”  Overused, misunderstood, but oh so important because everyone wants to be loved.

Why Love Came Down

Some of us know beyond a shadow of a doubt we’re lost in life.  You might even be a follower of Jesus Christ and know somehow you’ve lost our way.  You’re feeling it.  You’re perplexed.  You’re confused.  You don’t know where to turn.  You’re overwhelmed.  And you’re so exasperated you’re about ready to give up. You might be caught up in addiction to escape or “deal with” life. Well here’s the good news.  Jesus said, “I came for that.”

Love Is A Gift (Christmas Eve at Grace)

God’s motive for sending Jesus is love.  It’s not like God had to build up enough love to finally do something but that love is who God is so He gave to us out of love. Christmas is the celebration that love came down from heaven as a gift for you.
