Bruce and Lisa Triplehorn lived and worked in Brazil for more than 25 years to develop fully devoted followers of Christ. Their focus has been mobilizing and equipping the Brazilian church to evangelize unbelievers, disciple believers, train leaders and plant churches. Since becoming more involved in Africa in late 2014, the focus for Brazil has been on writing Portuguese Bible studies for evangelism and discipleship. They make yearly trips to Brazil to encourage those whom they have trained, traveling to cities and rural areas from the mouth of the Amazon (Belém) to the state of São Paulo (Campinas). Although they have mostly lived and worked in cities where people have more resources, the greatest impact has been in the more rural areas. People from these churches have trusted in the Lord and His Word and are reaching out, having evangelistic Bible studies with friends and neighbors. This has led to a number of church plants.
