Between Merge Camp and Beyond Camp our 5th-8th graders and leaders have been very busy! We are excited to have a front row seat to the life change that is happening in our students lives and we love sharing that with all of you! This summer, 2 students accepted Jesus for the first time at Merge Camp, and 3 did the same at Beyond. There has been a strong sense of camaraderie and community between students this summer, more than ever before! During Beyond Camp, students joined together and held powerful conversations about the messages delivered by Jake Lawson. Merge students had daily service opportunities that they approached with excitement, humility and hard work. Take a look below at just one of many stories from our middle school camps!
Beyond Camp was definitely an unforgettable week. It was a week filled with swimming, worship, singing dancing, and so many fun games. It was the best week of the summer. Aside from all the crazy fun we had, even greater things happened that made the week even more amazing. So many friendships and strong connections were made. We saw God change lives at Beyond Camp. Just in our cabin, 13 girls recommitted their lives to Christ and 1 girl made the decision to commit her life to Christ for the first time. There is nothing like seeing someone you have been praying so hard for step out of darkness into light. We celebrated these life changing decisions by running and jumping in the pool as an entire cabin! Clothes on and all! It was truly an amazing moment and something I will never forget.
