I trusted Jesus in December of 2007. My mother and father in law had been attending a small church that preached the truth of Jesus. They invited us to come for the Christmas service. It seemed that the preacher was preaching directly at me the whole time. He gave a clear presentation of the gospel and invitation to receive Jesus. I prayed and gave my life to Jesus and asked Him to come into my heart and give me a home in heaven. Since that day, Jesus has transformed my heart and mind.
Don’t get me wrong – I’m not a perfect Christian. I’m definitely a work in progress but day by day, month by month, year by year I am becoming a little more like Him.
My wife and I started attending Grace with our kids and we are enjoying our Christianity in a new way. We love the services, the leadership, and the people. I currently serve in the worship team on the drums which is just crazy to me that I get to serve God doing one of the things I enjoy most in the world. I have a desire to find even more ways I can serve here at Grace and want to be baptized as an act of obedience to my Lord and Savior Jesus and to share my identity in Christ openly with our church. My wife and I would also like to join Grace Church.
